Avicii (Tim Berg) - "Seek Bromance"

If there is one decant videographic musical expression of youthful mystery, exploration and/or absence, perhaps it is in Tim Berg's, better known as Avicii, "Seek Bromance".

A great club poppy track that empowers bedroom dancing in front of the mirror, the video takes the listener/viewer elsewhere quite frankly as it begins with an adolescent-parental rift. Evidently the conflict of our story's narrative. This propels three young people to simply leave it all behind, take off from the world with nothing but the clothes on their back and a sufficient amount of recreational party drugs while they cruise their blue convertible Cadillac.

The mystery continues and unfolds profoundly as well as provocatively as our three musketeers trio arrives in Las Vegas and bears the full brunt of the Vegas strip. Drinking, gambling, table dancing and getting kicked out of casinos leads to a hotel party with other young people met while adventuring. A typical part of any young person's party night occurs as one of our protagonists requires the care and bathroom babysitting of his friends. But all that is shrugged off as our three friends truly show how affectionate they are of one another slipping off one another's clothes and slipping into bed under the covers together. Romancing and having their three way to the fullest, our two mates conclude their business with a high five just as they (probably) finished crossing swords.

The video then ends with the impression of some sort of abandonment by the two lads of their female companion which leads to only puzzling speculation as to what are the true intentions of friendship. In this context, was the young lady just exploited or was it all in mutual consensual fun? Or perhaps the high five at the end in the car mirrors the high five previously exchanged earlier in the car and again in the car with the reedit of the same scene. And perchance that is what we are to focus, simply that high five. Though endless qualifications could be made on the affairs between our protagonists, what is the focus is the actual "bromance" and relationship between the two young men alone, despite their lady companion. Either way, no doubt "bromance" was actualized whether it was the exchange of a high five or the exchange of something else...
